Subject: HISTORIC TRIANGLE  COLLABORATIVE

 
United Nations Agenda 21 (UN A21) is alive and well in our area. Local  Regional Planning Meetings are being held as we speak. If passed, these  plans will solidify A21’s hold on the Historic Triangle and the liberties we enjoy as Americans will soon disappear.  (See below for more info about  Agenda 21 and the planning meetings)

In response to this assault, Concerned Citizens of  the Historic Triangle is holding its first meeting Wednesday, Feb. 15, at  the Starbucks on Rt 60, at  McClaws  Circle from 7 to 9. The purpose of this meeting  is to become informed about these regional plans and learn what we can do  to defend our Constitutional liberties. Sue Sadler of James City County and Mary Leedom  of York County have been on the front lines of this  battle locally and will be our teachers.

Do spread the word and come. We need many to voice  their concerns or this “regional plan” will quickly become a set of  costly, intrusive, oppressive regulations that we and our children and  grandchildren will have to submit to.

Like most “green movement initiatives,” Agenda 21  is a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”   It is not an environmental management policy, but an attempt to  impose a global centrally-planned quasi-government administered by the  United Nations.  Under Agenda  21, all central government and local authority signatories are required to  conform strictly to a common prescribed standard and hence this is just  communism resurrected in a new guise.

 LOCAL REGIONAL PLANNING MEETINGS DATESBelow is a list of meetings scheduled for this  area. The first one was held Feb. 2. The planners and staff of the 3 areas  (Yorktown,  Williamsburg, and JCC) were in  attendance. The public was invited to express their opinions then each  person participated by giving their written opinions, which were recorded  and will be used to determine the outcome. As you can see, we need to be  in force at these meetings and let our voices be heard.

1.        Riverside/Busch/Marquis area: Thursday, Feb. 2,  7-9 p.m. Magruder Elementary School Cafetorium, 700 Penniman Rd. (Last  week)

2.        Lightfoot/Pottery area: Thursday, Feb. 23 - 7-9 p.m. Warhill  High School Auditorium, 4615 Opportunity  Way

3.        Northeast Triangle and surrounding area: Monday, Feb. 27 -  7-9 p.m.  Williamsburg  Community  Building,   401    North Boundary  St.

4.        Yorktown/Lower  York  County: Thursday, March 15  7-8:45 p.m. Tabb Library Meeting  Room,100 Long Green  Blvd.
