Happy New Year

2012

Are you ready for 2012?

Americans are waking up

Thank you Mr. Obama...for bringing Americans together. For that you get a gold star.

From your messages we learned that you lie, you play favorites, you favor Islam, you favor big corporations to line your pockets, you have obligated the America people to huge debt that our children's children will thank you as well.

Yes you have attempted to fundamentally transform America into a Marxist country that is beyond recognition. You hired known communists for Czars, used occupiers to intimidate and allowed the Federal Reserve to print money and destroy our economy.   Your corruption knows no bounds. You and your corrupt Attorney General Holder are suing the States for attempting to enforce Federal Law.  You have promoted mediocre healthcare, "F" ratings for our schools, down grade of  our AAA credit rating, burned bibles, destroyed the banking , fishing, auto and energy industries.  You did all of this while encouraging hatred, class warfare, calling us names, calling us lazy, terrorist, used phony science, bad investments for taxpayer dollars, bowing to our enemies, handing with  hard earned dollars to our enemies,  promoting foreign business while destroying ours. You have given away:  our food, our money, our jobs (yes you created jobs, 1.2 million overseas) our drone, our sovereignty, our resources, our technology and our military secrets.  You have overloaded healthcare, schools, entitlements with illegals (your new voters).    You have given grants for phony EPA projects designed to steal our liberty, private property and restrict our movement. After all you don't believe in American excellence, you believe in communal mediocrity which will become the highlight of your Presidency.  Yes, we got it you want to fundamentally transform America into a third world country.

Well, we got the message and we say enough, no matter what you offer.  We would rather follow Opie see Opieh

We are ready.

Americans are fighting back, we are united, we will prevail....

 Success Stories of 2011

We created our own media that tells the truth, we are monitoring schools, promoting the 10th Amendment, educating ourselves, and TALKING ABOUT POLITICS AND RELIGION OPENLY.  WE have officially ended political correctness.

We learned that Sustainable Development is code for confiscating private property in the name of protecting the environment.  Therefore, Americans all over the country are education legislators and kicking ICLEI and Smart Growth out of their county, most recently are Momouth and Somerset counties, NJ and La Plata, Co.

The best 2011 Smart Growth News goes to  Supreme Court of California for dissolving over 400 redevelopment agencies. Redevelopment is code for stealing taxpayer money from highway projects for rebuild using favored contractors.  Sustainable Developments to herd people into pack em, stack em urban areas with limited electricity, for and transportation.. This is great news.  The Institute for Justice should be congratulated for the great work they did to protect the property rights of the citizens in CA and for giving us a platform to prove our point when trying to o to convince our elected officials of what is in store for us if we continue implementing these economy killing growth plans. If you can the Institute For Justice  could use donations.

Florida gets a spot as well for Gov Scott defunding Florida Forever and Smart Growth programs.

The best 2011 Education News goes to all of the states that refused Race to Tyranny (oops Race to the Top) and is shared by Tennessee for passing SB 49 which restricts Sex Ed Classes in public schools ONLY to the biology of human reproduction.

Best Business Decision goes to Lowe's for pulling its advertising off of the Muslim show.. Sign the petition and support Lowe's for not caving to the Muslim pressure from CAIR. Petition  and to Chic A Fila for closing on Sunday.for closing on Sunday

Best 2011 Smart Meter News goes to New Hampshire an ACT prohibiting electric utilities from installing and maintaining smart meter gateway devices without the residential or business property owner’s consent.

Best 2011 Immigration news goes to Arizona for its relentless enforcement of immigration law to protect its citizens.

Best 2011 Climate news is from Space and Science Center for exposing the global warming hoax.

Best 2011 EPA news,  Federal Court slaps down EPA

Best 2011 Tea Party News The Tea Party is Upending  Urban  Planning

Best 2011 Agender news - Congratulations to John Anthony and Emily Bowers who met an an Agenders Conference in Florida and are engaged.

Americans working together are the best force to defeat the communist living in the White House, Congress will never act alone. We must be on them constantly and VOTE THEM OUT when they refuse to listen.

Get your postcards ready, we have work to do. As you can see we are making a difference.  last year you thought Agenda 21 was a myth, now you see it all over government documents as this administration is preparing to implement by executive order.

First card for the new year, to your fed legislators, support Joe Walsh bill HR 3594, CONGRESS WILL DEFUND THE UNITED NATIONS, IF THEY TAKE ANY MEASURES OF GUN CONTROL ON ANY U.S. CITIZEN !

Remember to attend the Jacksonville Agenders conference

To all of our new friends, have a wonderful New Year because Monday, let's get to work.

Yes, we will bring America back to the exceptional country she is.

God Bless you all and God Bless America,

The Agenders.

[Peninsula-Patriots] American Planning Association information

Patriots, I received this recently. It discusses political activism by people like the Tea Party and concerned citizens and how best to deal with them. Some of this I consider true (green text) and some I consider false (misunderstood) highlighted in red text. There is no doubt that good planning is beneficial to the community and no one questions that. But,I consider some the visioning revealed in the updated Mathews Comprehensive Plan, to be planning toward predetermined objectives (Agenda 21/Sustainable Development) and yes we do consider that a threat to our freedom and property rights.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dealing with the New Activists—What Planners Should Know
The newly‐energized and politically active citizens who have begun to dominate the American political landscape over the past several years will continue to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. It is impossible—and would be unfair—to try to paint them with a single brush, but there are some things that the planning community should be cognizant of as we move forward in this changed political landscape. At the risk of oversimplification, here are some thoughts to consider.

Who are the new activists?
To a great extent the new activists truly are new to the process. They are not old political hands and to a remarkable—and laudatory—degree, they seem to be being relatively immune to being co‐opted by existing parties or the political establishment. Indeed, "None of the Above" seems to be the favorite electoral choice of many of these new activists. This means that they are not familiar with the norms and vocabulary of the established political process and frankly find both to be problematic for what they believe are the requirements of American democracy (my input - Republic). Thus, the folks who continue the same old vocabulary will be tarred as being of the same old politics marked by pluralism, compromise and delay in making critical decisions on issues and policy directions for which the new activists want to see a change from the status quo.

What are the issues?
Again, it would be unfair to settle on a single issue as the situation is far too complex. However, to the extent that there are three unifying issues they are the national debt, an overreaching federal government and fear of diminished property rights, each of which is viewed under the lens of the changing demographics of America. And, many are truly passionate about these things and see in them a threat to the freedom of choice and the American Dream as we have thought of it since WWII. Politics and politicians of all parties are viewed as a major part of the problem and by extension government at all levels is seen as the enemy (my input - problem). This has spurred a renewed interest in the concept of "states rights" and the 10th Amendment to the Constitution. Planning appears to be serving as a lightning rod for these core issues.

Where is the information coming from?
Many of the new activists get their information from what can only be thought of as a closed loop—bloggers and talking heads with whom they already agree (my input - research). Unfortunately, this is little different from most Americans in the 21st Century and it may be that the slow death of daily newspapers and the resultant loss of in‐depth news and political coverage is a contributing factor. Blogs and digital social media on the Internet form a very substantial source of information and as these sources are not subject to fact‐checking, compelling, but incorrect, stories abound and are repeated over and over until they have a cachet of fact. It thus is very difficult to dissuade people of the essential "truths" that they believe. However, as previously noted, this is certainly not limited to the new activists.

How do planners respond?
For the most part, the planning community should remain committed to our profession and be fully guided by our ethical requirements. However, planners need to recognize that in many ways, we are our own worst enemy. It is hard to find a profession with more jargon and acronyms—plain English communicates far more and far better to non‐planners. The planning community is often very trend driven, going for the purported brass ring of the latest planning fashion—TND, New Urbanism, Form‐Based Codes—when what planners really do best is help citizens find, explore and document their shared values for the future through an open and collaborative process. Planners should NEVER pre‐ordain outcomes; planners help develop processes to allow the citizens to get to the outcomes THEY want. Planning and planners must be seen as more than simply enforcers of codes. It is necessary to remind citizens and elected officials that good planning leads to a more efficient and effective use of scarce public resources. Moreover, planners can emphasize that a successful planning process finds common ground among citizens through choice, engagement and community involvement. Planning is an outcome‐neutral tool for ensuring that all voices are heard in an open manner and does not advance particular agendas or ideologies. Indeed, planners themselves come from a variety of political ideologies, but are able to come together as a profession with the common goal of helping citizens help themselves in finding their shared values.
Planners should learn to frame the discussion in terms that citizens understand and avoid using various words and terms that are either code for things people think they don't want or are simply things that they do not care about today. "For example, the new activists as well as most citizens do not care at all about the "transportation land‐use connection, while they are passionately concerned about the cost of housing and the cost of transportation. Recent polling data (Ford Foundation, October‐November 2010) suggest that most Americans support reducing commuting distances, times and costs and that they support having schools, shopping and recreation closer to where the live. Additionally, most Americans want clean air and water and they support sidewalks and bicycle trails. Finally, Americans overwhelmingly agree that as a nation we are far too dependent upon foreign oil. However, they do not favor "sustainability", "livability", "walkability", "smart growth" and similar terms. So, language is very important and planners need to clearly enunciate goals without reverting to planning jargon.
It does no good to argue with the new activists over what they believe—set facts straight, but do not argue over beliefs and absolutely avoid name‐calling. By providing accurate, fact‐based information, planners can begin to counter misinformation and the viral blogosphere and Internet discussion loops. At the end of the day, however, as planners we need to tell our story. We must sell the value we add to public processes to an increasingly skeptical public. It is absolutely true that planning can build great communities—we have done so in the past and we continue to do so; however, too often we do not shine a light brightly on our successes as a profession. By both nature and training, planners try to shun the spotlight, remaining both neutral and dispassionate. Perhaps some more passion about the good that planning does is appropriate—APA's Great Places in America and National Planning Month programs are good places to begin. 2

[Peninsula-Patriots] Fw: Too Close for Comfort? Houston County, MN

I received this from a Middlesex patriot today and thought it should be passed on to you. You will see that many of the things happening in Houston County MN are also happening here . I encourage all of you to write letters to the editor about things that concern you. More people read these letters than you may think.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free.....it expects what never was and never will be"      Thomas Jefferson

DeWitt Edwards

The article below appeared in The Blaze, Dec. 21.  Houston County, Minnesota, appears to be further along on the same road we're traveling here in the Middle Peninsula.  Are we looking at our future?
Trudy
*******************************************************************************

"The Letters Came in Droves"
Letters to the Editors hit the local newspapers as fast as people could write them. The landowners of Houston County, exercising their freedom of speech, used the local media as a venue for their voices, as they "wondered why no one was listening or even cared."
Titled "Arrogance or Ignorance?" ,"County is Wrong!", "Agenda 21," the letters filled the newspapers- until one newspaper pulled the breaks.
A new headliner popped up from the editor of the Spring Grove Herald. The article, "New Policies for our Opinion Page," explained that the paper will "stop publishing letters to the editor on the land rights issue."
Feeling that the letters were "repeating themselves," the editor, Heather M. Gray, went on to say, however, that they "will accept a limited amount of letters from any individuals who support the county's current zoning ordinances."
In a nutshell, those who opposed were not allowed to submit letters, however those that were in support, had the allowance to do so.
In a phone interview, Gray stated she, "did not feel that she was taking away the residents' right to Freedom of Speech because they had said everything they needed to say."
"They were just trying to sway people to think like them, but were saying the same things over and over again," said Gray, who ironically, was also the Mayor of the town at that time.
Gray, when asked if she, in fact, felt it was acceptable to take away a venue for the people's voices, stated, "Yes, for that period of time. We had published plenty of points of views. In my opinion, they had said enough."
The landowners, who felt there was certainly more to say, were denied the publishing of letters from that point on. However, the Herald did allow them to take out "ad space" for their statements. The group was spending approximately $500 a week, just to say what Gray thought, "they said enough of."
Today, the "freeze" is lifted, however, the residents are held to a 500-word limit, with the editor having the right to "edit as she feels fit."
What is really going on here?
Why do the Commissioners and Planning Board members of Houston County, Minnesota feel as if these strict, nearly impossible demands and rules are acceptable? Why is the local media turning their heads away from the truth?
The answer lies respectably in the Constitution, or lack thereof.
"At some meetings, we are told not to talk about the Constitution and the protection it guarantees to US citizens," claims the landowners spearheading this revolution.
On March 13, 2008, at a planning board meeting, this group continued to bring up the Constitution, freedom, and rights. "The board members would bristle in anger," says the group.
Finally, Curren went to the podium and asked the commissioners if they "knew what they swore to uphold when they took their oath of office." No one answered. After repeating the question several times, the board replied the same- with silence.
Soon after, a conversation was had between some landowners, Curren, and one of the commissioners.
"I know we've sworn to uphold the Constitution but it is an old document; times have changed," stated Commissioner Tom Bjerke.
Surrounded by many landowners as witnesses, Bjerke continued on to say, "Quit bringing up the Constitution."
Bjerke did not return any of the repeated calls in regards to this statement or situation.
Now What?
The Houston County property owners have endorsed new litigation to get government back in the hands of "We the People." The Complaint, which was filed in the Minnesota Federal Court, asserts that the Houston County Commissioners, Houston County Zoning Administrator Bob Scanlan, the Board of Adjustment, as well as the Planning Commission and Environmental Service Director Richard Frank are violating the constitutionally guaranteed rights of the landowners in the county.
The case, which was filed October 3, 2011, will be seen in court on December 16, to decide on " a schedule for the case."
"We are not a litigious group," said Robert Ideker, a Houston County landowner. "We have tried to work with the county, we have attended dozens of meetings and hearings, we have written dozens of letters, but no one will listen," said Ideker.
In 2010, the group also filed litigation in the state court, challenging the land use plan and zoning ordinance, but during research and discovery in the case, many landowners learned that "the issues between the county and its citizens were significantly deeper than state level."
"Those issues go to the heart of the Guarantees in the US Constitution, and are protected by the Federal Civil Rights Act."
The landowners are now dismissing the state court case and have endorsed the Federal Case instead.
County landowner, Tom Groesschner said, "It is disappointing that it has come to federal court litigation but there is nowhere else to turn. It seems impossible, but we must get the government back into the hands of 'We the People."
The Landowners Concerned About Property Rights say, " We are doing this because of our faith. We believe that the earth is the Lord's and that men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. We all need to care for our families, run our farms and businesses, and better our lives as we so desire, being stewards of what God has given us."

SPECIAL ISSUE ON UNITED NATIONS AGENDA 21

 __________________________________________________________

WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT?

By Sid Preskitt

“Sustainable Development” is the UN Agenda 21 “Plan For The 21st Century”

It is the UN plan to manage and control ALL human activity under Marxist/socialist principles.

Re-distribution of wealth is a built in feature of it.

In practicality, it is a direct economic attack on the United States.

In fact, Maurice Strong was the Chair of the 1992 U.N. Earth Summit in Rio where Agenda 21 was introduced. He made the intent clear when he was quoted saying that it was their responsibility to bring about the collapse of the industrialized countries.

It has been incorporated into federal policy with a series of Executive Orders starting with #12982 in 1994 and continuing this year with more creating the Rural and Ocean Council’s.

It is the primary reason that we can’t meet our energy needs with production from our vast natural resources whether it be petroleum, coal or timber.

It is the reason that the vital Keystone Pipeline project is being opposed.

It is the reason we export almost a trillion dollars annually buying imported oil when we have proven reserves totaling more than all the mid-east countries combined.

It is the reason American’s are exhorted to cut back energy use to 1990′s levels further crippling the economy while China and other countries are exempt. All based on a fraudulent premise put forth by the U.N. IPCC.

It is the reason that over 600 local governments in the U.S. are dues paying members of ICLEI which directs the local implementation of Agenda 21 and other U.N. policies that Congress never approved. (see: ICLEI.org)

It is the reason that the Secretary of Transportation announced that promoting motorized transportation is no longer their priority.

It is the reason that our seafood production is severely restricted with only limited access allowed to abundant marine resources.

It is the reason that some of the most productive areas of the oceans around the coast are being closed off in “Marine Protected Areas”

It is the reason that NOAA Director, Dr. Jane Lubchenco has made implementing the Agenda 21, Catch Share allocation system in every American fishery a top priority. In New England and Florida the results are American fishermen out of work and the Governor of Massachusetts declaring an economic disaster with a request for $21 million in federal aid. Dr. Lubchenco’s response was asking for $54 million in additional funds to expand the program.

It is a primary reason that we import 84% of our seafood and export (re-distribute) nearly $11 billion to foreign countries like China and Vietnam in a seafood trade deficit.

It is the reason that our manufacturing base has been moved to foreign countries starting with NAFTA which had the goal of “promoting Sustainable Development”.

It is the reason that the Federal, State and local governments have been buying land in an effort to create the “system of protected areas” called for in the un-ratified U.N. Agenda 21 treaty.

It is the reason the U.S. Senate refused to even vote on the treaty when maps of The Wildlands Project were displayed on the floor of the Senate. The stated goal is “50% of the land in Core Wilderness areas with little or no human use” interconnected with Wildlife Corridors surrounded with Buffer Zones.

It is the reason that Volusia County, Florida now owns approximately 40% of the land in the County creating a “Conservation Corridor”.
When you put it all together it is a primary reason for the collapse of the American economy just as U.N. official, Maurice Strong wanted in 1993 when it all started.
Now, what are we going to do about it?
