Scholars: Campus 'Sustainability' Indoctrinates College Students

The Daily Caller

Happy Monday!

This summer I made time to read a 229-page report from the National Association of Scholars (NAS). Enitled "Sustainability: Higher Education's New Fundamentalism," it is worth you finding it online and reading! I promise you – "sustainability" is far more than you probably ever imagined.

No one has exposed this ideological campaign with such detail as NAS has! There is also a 12 page summary. This report by Peter Wood, president of the NAS, and the young research associate Rachelle Peterson, reads like an expose of mass manipulation and delusion.

The authors name names and dig deep, revealing a campaign every parent and college student should know about. Do not miss this interview – it is my favorite of the year!

In this 39 minute video, the authors discuss:

  • How the culture of campuses is being transformed and students are being "nudged" into a progressive ideological doctrine,
  • The fear and intimidation being used to silence dissent,
  • The radical ideologues behind of the movement, making it look like a student movement, when it is not,
  • The United Nations agenda that launched it, and how John Kerry and Teresa Heinz decided to use campuses to spread the UN agenda,
  • Sustainability's next hot issue that is spreading out right now, and more.

P.S. Did you see the latest two revelations about the Iranian Deal? Congress never knew the half of the deal! In September, the House and Senate will be voting on the Iranian deal, and the Hill is watching the vote tally in the House here and in the Senate here. Check what your representative or senator is saying about this critical Obama deal with Iran.

P.P.S. In June, Stella Morabito (a future interviewee), at The Federalist, wrote in "How to Escape the Age of Mass Delusion" about the targets of mass delusion and manipulation. Morabito says, the people targeted "tend to be atomized individuals who are drawn to the psychic thrill of being part of a mobilized mass that feeds on emotions and can feel a sense of righteousness in the stated pretext." How relevant is this to this week's interview about sustainability on campuses!

Robert,

It's almost too terrible to comprehend.

Jihadist ISIS terrorists are massacring Christians in Iraq, Syria, Egypt, and beyond.

They're abducting, raping, and selling young Christian girls.

Christian pastors are dismembered. Christian towns are pillaged.

For over a year, hundreds of thousands of Christian families have been fleeing for their lives.

The only thing standing between Christians and death at the hands of these barbarians are the brave fighters who are willing to defend them. And now ISIS has reportedly unleashed chemical weapons on them.

America must take a stand against these genocidal jihadists. We must defend Christians.

If we do nothing, they will die.

We're working in Congress to rally critical support and aid for Christians and to defeat ISIS. We continue to aggressively engage at the United Nations to raise this grave humanitarian crisis.

Join us in defending Christians. Be heard.

Sign Our Urgent Petition: Stop the Genocide of Christians Today.

FEUD HEATS UP BETWEEN BLACK MINISTERS & NAT'L PORTRAIT GALLERY OVER MARGARET SANGER EXHIBIT AND WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

FEUD HEATS UP BETWEEN BLACK MINISTERS & NAT'L PORTRAIT GALLERY OVER MARGARET SANGER EXHIBIT, AND WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Dear friend,

To those of you who signed our petition calling on the National Portrait Gallery ("NPG") to remove the bust and likenesses of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger from its exhibits, thank you for standing with us, and welcome!

Last week several black ministers from MINISTERS TAKING A STAND sent a letter to the National Portrait Gallery that read:

"We will not remain silent while the National Portrait Gallery venerates someone who sought to eradicate our very existence. Ms. Sanger was a racist, elitist, and her beliefs led to incalculable destruction of unborn human life, particularly black life. She was no hero."

We have demanded that the bust and all images of Margaret Sanger be removed from Gallery exhibits.

Within twenty-four hours after the letter was made public, it went viral on Facebook and Twitter. So far, we've had 100,000 people express support within the first week, including 10,000 signatures on our petition. The online petition is at www.standamerica.us.

As American citizens, we want institutions funded by our tax dollars to demonstrate moral clarity, and we object to a national museum honoring a racist whose legacy is the deaths of millions.

If you haven't already signed the petition, please do so now, and make a generous contribution to MINISTERS TAKING A STAND today. Your contribution will help us keep the pressure on the National Portrait Gallery to remove racist, eugenicist Margaret Sanger from a place of honor.
As American citizens, we want institutions funded by our tax dollars to demonstrate moral clarity, and we object to a national museum honoring a racist whose legacy is the deaths of millions.

The MTS letter was addressed to the head of the National Portrait Gallery, but the response came from the Gallery's Communications & Public Affairs office, and read in part:
"Margaret Sanger is included in the museum's collection, not in tribute to all her beliefs, many of which are now controversial, but because of her leading role in early efforts to distribute information about birth control and medical information to disadvantaged women ..."

Frankly, they entirely and perhaps intentionally missed the point. Sanger's motivations were not to help poor women but to stop them from having children because she classified them as 'defective' (her word) and therefore their children would be "defective." The museum's response is like saying, "Hitler may have been a controversial figure but he did a lot to help the cause of population control." It's unserious and disrespectful.

The black community is outraged when they learn that Margaret Sanger is venerated as a champion of justice alongside Dr. Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. The MTS letter to the NPG reads, "If Sanger's vision had been realized, MLK and Rosa Parks would never have been born."

The letter represents the start of a campaign to expose the racism of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood, which she founded. MTS will hold a rally and press conference in front of the National Portrait Gallery, to confront Museum officials and present the petition signatures. CitizenGo.org is partnering with MTS by hosting the online petition and collecting signatures.

The list of prominent black leaders supporting the effort is growing and now includes The Hon. J. Kenneth Blackwell, former Ambassador to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights; Dr. Alveda King, niece to civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Director of African American Outreach with Priests for Life; Dr. Johnny Hunter, Founder of the Life Education And Resource Network (L.E.A.R.N.); Ryan Bomberger, Co-Founder of The Radiance Foundation; Rev. Dean Nelson, Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, and many others.

Please join with us and the growing list of ministers above, who are standing against the NPG's veneration of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, by signing the petition and making your most generous contribution today!
Thank you in advance for your generosity and commitment to STAND!

God bless you,

E.W. Jackson
President

PRESS ADVISORY

FEUD HEATS UP BETWEEN BLACK MINISTERS AND NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY OVER MARGARET SANGER EXHIBIT

Norfolk, Virginia. Last week a national group of black ministers (MINISTERS TAKING A STAND - "MTS") headed by Founder and President, Bishop E.W. Jackson, sent a letter to the National Portrait Gallery that read:
"We will not remain silent while the National Portrait Gallery venerates someone who sought to eradicate our very existence. Ms. Sanger was a racist, elitist, and her beliefs led to incalculable destruction of unborn human life, particularly black life. She was no hero."

Frankly," Jackson said, "the NPG entirely, and perhaps intentionally, misses the point. Sanger's motivation was not to help poor women, but to prevent them from having babies that she classified as the "defective" children (her term) of "defective" women. The museum's response is the equivalent of saying, 'Hitler may have been a controversial figure, but he did a lot to help the cause of population control.' It is disrespectful and trivializes Sanger's barbarity."

Jackson added, "The black community is outraged when they learn that Margaret Sanger is venerated as a champion of justice alongside Dr. Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks." The MTS letter to the NPG reads, "If Sanger's vision had been realized, MLK and Rosa Parks would never have been born."
