Comment on proposed IRS donor rule
From Tea Party Patriots -
The IRS is at it again. A new set of proposed regulations would have non-profit charitable organizations submit the social security numbers of donors to the IRS each year. While the initial proposal gives the non-profit the option to submit the SSNs, we believe it will only be a matter of time before it is mandatory.
Right now there is a public comment period on the proposed regulations. We need to flood the regulatory agency with as many comments as we can in opposition to these new regulations.
The deadline is December 16, 2015, so please share with any of your friends and family who think the IRS is out of control.
Remember, Tea Party groups (including Tea Party Patriots), conservative organizations, and individuals were systematically targeted by the IRS for having different beliefs than the current administration. What do you think will happen if the IRS can track donors to charitable organizations by SSNs? Given the scrutiny we have endured, we don't want to find out!
On top of that, this is a major security and privacy issue. Do you want the charities that you give to, that often run on shoe-string budgets, to be responsible for safeguarding your SSN? These risks are just too high!
Please leave a comment today and share with all of your friends on social media and encourage them to do the same. Proposed regulations like this have been defeated in the past, but it's going to take a huge number of public comments to stop this latest IRS power grab!

A Petition to: Senator Mike Lee
Dear Senator Lee:
I support your efforts to stop funding and implementation of the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule (AFFH), as proposed by Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
This program is nothing more than social engineering of America's neighborhoods. It will destroy property rights, home equity, and the makeup of whole neighborhoods.
Above all, AFFH will eliminate the ability of locally elected city councils and county commissions to have any say in local development. In short, it is nothing less than the destruction of home rule and the establishment of a federal HUD dictatorship.
That's why I, the undersigned American citizen, supports your amendment, the "Local Zoning Decisions Protection Act," (S.1909). I call on every member of the U.S. Senate to support your Amendment to the Transportation Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Bill.
Please use this petition to help convince a majority of Senators to join with you in defending American property rights and local representation in our cities and counties.
