You may be wondering, what's wrong with that?
So tell legislators not to use state tax money to implement regional comprehensive plans, planning should be left up to localities and their elected officials! This bill is on the docket for the,

"Participating in a UN planning process would likely bring out many...who would actively work to defeat Agenda 21. So, we will call our process something else, such as "comprehensive planning" or "smart growth."
-- Stated by J. Gary Lawrence of the US Smart Growth Leadership Council, in The Future of Agenda 21 in the New Millennium.
"Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did, and it never will. Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue til they have resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they suppress." - Frederick Douglass

Yes, here are some samples. The Tidewater area problem is of land sinking, not ocean levels rising. Recent satellite measurements show ocean/sea levels falling. The Virginia Institute of Marine Science says so. I covered this in my Mathews, VA presentation on Jan. 23, 2012. The whole thing is posted on my website: www.climateis.wordpress.comCharles B.
Chas B -Do you have the correct data to counter what this bill claims?thx!Charles W

Oppose SJ 76SJ 76 Sea-level; Institute of Marine Science to study strategies to relative rise in Tidewater localities.AGENDA 21 ALERTOn the docket for Tuesday, Feb. 21 – Please contact Senators now. There is a similar bill, HJ 50. Neither has met any resistance so they will pass this without blinking if we don't yell loudly. Thank You!What scientists are predicting this? Where is the data??!!"WHEREAS, scientists predict an additional 2.3 to 5.2 feet of relative sea-level rise in the Chesapeake Bay region by 2100; "I can tell you what the strategies will be. Redistribute our wealth to other countries to combat non-existent anthropogenic global warming to combat sea level rises unrelated human activities!!In conducting its study, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science shall (i) review and develop a comprehensive list of ideas and examples of strategies used in similar settings around the United States and the world; (ii) convene a stakeholder advisory panel for the purpose of discussing and assessing the feasibility of employing these strategies in Tidewater Virginia; and (iii) offer specific recommendations for the detailed investigation of preferred options for adapting to relative sea-level rise.More wasted tax dollars for more ridiculous studies designed to separate us from our money and control all land and water use.To Send a Mass Email:To Call the Delegates:For More Information:SJ 76 Sea-level; Institute of Marine Science to study strategies to relative rise in Tidewater localities.
