Just wanted to send one last email before I turn this over to Brian Evans. My understanding is that Brian has volunteered take over leadership. I have not heard from CarlAnderson or Lynda Fairman as to their plans for the Tea Party.

In spite of the following quote:         (While I occupy the YCRC Chair, routine business of the YCRC will be conducted at scheduled meetings with the approval of the membership as appropriate. Your requests fit into this category of routine business. Please bring these matters up at the next YCRC meeting under "New Business" on the agenda. I do not intend to conduct YCRC business ex parte (outside the knowledge of the entire membership).

Spring Greetings, Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter/Passover and are enjoying the spring weather (in spite of the pollen)!

Exciting news continues for the YCRC! Re-elected Hampton City Republican Committee (HCRC) Chairman Carl Anderson thought of coordinating all Chairmen of the Peninsula Republican Committees to create a coalition to work together for victory. Since the different legislative districts cross over several of our communities, it makes perfect sense to work together to win elections and get to know our fellow Republicans around the Peninsula. There's strength and victory in numbers!

 

With this coordination in mind, we've come up with an idea: a monthly "Saturday Republican Fellowship Breakfast" to highlight guest speakers on important issues and winning campaign techniques. The organization and location for these events would rotate among the participating Peninsula Committees so no one is "stuck" with planning this every month. (The HCRC has been hosting successful Saturday information/fellowship breakfasts for 30 years!) These breakfast gatherings would be focused on the topic and guest speaker for everyone's interest, leaving Committee business during our regular monthly meetings with shorter programs during those times. These Republican Fellowship Breakfasts will be a great way to invite others to join us, too!

 

I'm looking forward to working with the other Chairmen on this endeavor. If you would like to volunteer to be on the YCRC's special committee to organize our dates & speakers for these breakfast events or if you have speaker contacts, please let me know.

 

Also - keep an eye out for informational emails from me regarding upcoming events on important issues and campaign training in the area sponsored by other conservative groups (i.e. The Leadership Institute, Peninsula Tea Party, Middle Resolution PAC, etc.) We're all working for the same goal in November and to restore our Constitutional Republic! I'll pass along the information so you can attend the trainings as you choose.

[Peninsula-Patriots] Remain vigilant

I know you must be getting tired of hearing about Agenda 21 but please do not dismiss it because it is the greatest single thing that is destroying America. We cannot grow weary in our battle against it for if we do Communism wins (they are it's authors) and that is what we leave the generations of Americans which will follow us. Our local (unknowingly), and state and federal governments have bought into it but thankfully citizens across this country are becoming informed and are rising up against it. The Republican National Committee and an increasing number of counties and cities are kicking ICLEI out on their butts where they belong. Do not be intimated by those who say they do not see blue helmets because that simply indicates how truly unformed they are. Read this article and you will better understand.

[Peninsula-Patriots]

Today we had an excellent town hall meeting in Mathews with Mr. David Foster, Chair of Virginia Board of Education in attendance. Also in attendance was Mathews School Board member Mr. Bill Johnson. Conspicuously absent were all other school board members and teachers. During that meeting a number of people addressed issues in our schools that concern us. I spoke of my concern about the United Nations educational arm UNESCO in Virginia schools. Low and behold when I arrived home I received an email stating that the US had just defunded UNESCO. What GREAT news that was. Now if we could just get them to defund the United Nations.That would be an even greater achievement.

My dear friends,

 

 

 I have come to a point in my life were I need to evaluate my focus and direct my time and energy. I am going to work with the concerned citizens groups who fight back the encroachment of UN Agenda 21 and for property rights. York County with their Collaborative Comprehensive Planning and their tax hikes have proven that they need close scrutiny, and I will be there.

 

            Remember the Republican primary is June the 12^th; and the elections are in November and everyone must do everything they can to turn this ship! As the midterm elections in 2010 showed YOU CAN DO THIS! You have worked hard to learn the skills and possess the drive to accomplish that task.

 

            You are in good hands with Carl Anderson, the newly elected Chair for the Republican Hampton City Committee, and Lynda Fairman, the newly elected Chair for Republican York County Committee, proven leaders in the Republican Committees; who ran proudly leading with their Tea party involvement. With these two and the two add ional co-planners you can accomplish much.

 

 

Gail will facilitate a transfer of the assets to a named representative as soon as possible. I will forward you a new contact email for Peninsula Tea Party as soon as I receive it.
