Pope Pledges to Baptize Mother’s Baby After She Rejects Abortion
A mother who decided to reject her boyfriend’s request for her to get an abortion received a surprise call from Pope Francis — who told her he would be glad to baptize her baby.

Anna Romano became pregnant after having a relationship with a married man, who told her he would not help her raise the baby and pressured her to have an abortion. Not wanting to compound one mistake with another, Romano refused and will give birth. Congresswoman’s Miracle Baby Still Doing Well After Doctors Said She’d Die
When she was pregnant with her daughter Abigail Rose Beutler, doctors told Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, a pro-life Republican from Washington state, that her baby had a potentially fatal diagnosis that would claim her life shortly after birth.

Beutler posted a message on Facebook in June saying her unborn child had been diagnosed with Potter’s Syndrome, a condition which prevents the child’s kidneys from developing properly and is typically fatal for the baby. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/09/06/congresswomans-miracle-baby-still-doing-well-after-doctors-said-shed-die/

Letter: Will Obama Admin Break the Law to Fund Abortions for Congress?
Members of Congress are concerned the Obama administration ill break current federal law to pay for abortions for members of Congress and Congressional staff via Obamacare.

Some 86 members of Congress signed on to a letter to the director of the Office of Personnel Management expressing concerns that it will not comply with the Smith Amendment regarding Federal employee health plans that provide benefits or coverage for abortion. Democratic Party Chair Heartbroken by Kids Killed in Syria, But Supports Abortion
In a CNN debate on September 4- the eve of today’s vote on Syria authorization – Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida argued with Republican Congressman Michael Burgess about the need for American intervention in the Syrian civil war.

U.S. intervention is being considered because Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad is being suspected of having used chemical weapons on his own people. These people were civilians, and among them were hundreds of young children. Republican Chairman Blasts Iowa Democrats Who Prayed for Abortion
The chairman of the Iowa Republican party is blasting Democratic gubernatorial candidates who recently joined in on a prayer for abortion.

Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates joined abortion activists in prayer for increased abortion access. “We pray for women who’ve been made afraid of their own power by their paternalistic religion” and they prayed for the “blessing of choice.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/09/06/republican-chairman-blasts-democrats-who-prayed-for-abortion/

As Dozens of Abortion Clinics Close, Pro-Life Movement is Winning
No one likes to see a business close its doors — unless that business is an abortion clinic! In states across America, pro-lifers have been all too happy to shutter facilities bent on misleading women and taking innocent lives. And that’s no small number, according to a new report from Bloomberg. Since 2011, 58 of America’s abortion clinics — almost one in 10 — have either pulled the plug on their abortion services or folded altogether.

In most cases, clinics are closing offices faster than they can open new ones. 21 States Ban Insurance Coverage for Abortion, Does Yours?
Thirty-three percent of women who had abortions in 2008 were uninsured, 30 percent had private health insurance and 31 percent were enrolled in Medicaid, according to a 2010 Guttmacher Institute report.
